Demo V2.2


This introduces a huge amount of stuff that is pretty mostly invisible to players. Controls have been completely revamped, lots of scripts redone to be more malleable, and options are now in for further customization of the game experience. There's little new "game" content recently, but we are about to get back to putting in new things!

A big announcement is that the game needs to switch to a new Bust system. There's a few reasons for it, but mostly it comes down to the usage of Construct having a lot of limiting factors regarding image sampling, making the busts look awful on multiple platforms/screens. This change will take a couple months to fully enact, but the end result will lead to a more "Phoenix Wright" style of dialogue with pixelart busts and animations.

The road map for the rest of the Demo is mostly to prep for larger events this spring. This includes: The new busts, rebalanced gameplay, better powers and synergies, new enemies, potentially new bosses, and new forms for Iris' main weapon. Overall I expect this to take 2 months to make all the content, and another month to polish it.

After the Demo is at a good place, we will begin our roadmap for the game's Early Access. It's still very up in the air, as we are still wondering about funding and publishing details.

-Rebalanced enemies and player stats

-Made it so Iris can only be damaged by 1 source if hit at the same frame (no more hit by 5 things for 2 damage at the same frame)

-Adjusted Dialogue system so NPCs are not always present, and ! appears for more important conversations
